Grand Opening Contest
CHAINSAWS ETCGrounds Equipment, Supplies and PartsWe're getting ready to open our new store in Easley, SC. Located in the historic district at 100 S Pendleton. Opening day is scheduled for June 1st. Celebrating both the store opening and the 4th of July. There will be festivals, food and fun for the 4th. And a Chainsaw Art Carving Competition! ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY JUNE 30th. | Submit you chainsaw art work. Photos of
all received works will be posted and updated regularly on this site.
All work will be displayed in store window until the 4th. The attendees
of the Downtown Easley 4th of July Celebration will vote for the winner.
Please include name, address, phone number with your work and details
about the art, including the brand and model of the chainsaw used to
create it. Please suggest a starting bid. The info that you provide will be placed in front of your
work. The submitted art will be auctioned off and the proceeds will go
to Meals on Wheels and similar food for the hungry organizations. Photos
of your artwork, with info, will remain permanently on display in the
shop. (Great advertising!) This competition is for professional chainsaw users only. Your business info is required. Carvings are restricted to a maximum of 4' tall 2' wide. Carvings become the property of Chainsaws Etc. Most will be auctioned off. Some will remain on display, with all the carvers supplied info, in the shop, Chamber of Commerce and the Easley Visitors Center, and various locations throughout Easley. Real chainsaw art is done by only using chainsaws. No carving or sanding tools are used.
